Mini Monkeys nursery was established in 2018, located in Brunel Road, Dundee.
Catering for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. All our staff are fully trained, registered & qualified, or working towards full qualification through training and continuous development, supported by our senior staff.

Early development is fundamental to the growth of your child. At Mini Monkeys we are committed to providing a safe, secure, nurturing & stimulating environment for our children.
Our personal pledge is to support each child to learn at their own pace. Through participating in a variety of play experiences, we will support children to develop positive relationships, build confidence and become successful future learners.

Unique care for each

age & stage

We offer separate rooms for each different age group. Our dedicated rooms mean that babies and children spend their days with others of a similar age and development stage. When it’s time to progress to the next room we will always aim to move small groups of children together, especially if there are strong friendship bonds and it’s the right thing for the children.

Fresh food prepared daily

At Mini Monkeys we hope that our Lunch and High Tea menu is to your child's liking. In addition to providing vegetarian alternatives daily, we are also fully committed to catering for all special dietary requirements, just let us know. Our Menu is freshly prepared daily on our premises by our cook . It is offered on a four week rotational basis and may vary on occasions such as Burns Day, Chinese New Year, Christmas and other celebrated events. Whatever the occasion we are committed to always offering and option that your child can enjoy.

Happy Parents

Extremely happy with choosing Mini Monkeys for our little girl. From day one we have been made to feel welcome and comfortable in knowing our daughter is in safe hands. All the staff are really helpful and do an amazing job. Getting the daily sheets really help us with knowing what our little girl has been up to, they are always so detailed and easy to understand. The learning journals are a great addition to get pictures and videos of all the activities she has been up to and they also allow us to continue the activities at home.

I can’t speak highly enough of the staff and the way they care for our child. Since day one, she has been welcome and the staff spend dedicated time with her. This, in return, means she is happy to attend nursery and some days it’s a struggle to bring her home. We get daily feedback so we can continue to implement what has been started at nursery at home.

Mini Monkeys has been a great place for my son, he was made very welcome and settled so well after we moved cities and had to change his nursery at 20 months old, he’s now been here almost a year and loves going. They are provided with fresh food and healthy snacks and get lots of opportunities for messy play and outdoor play which he loves too. There are lots of varied activities and things for the kids to do.

We have definitely noticed ‘D....’being a lot more vocal around the house. It’s great to see how much she has come along in the short time she has been in nursery. She looks like she is really enjoying herself in every picture. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her, all the girls have been amazing.

My daughter has attended the nursery for almost a year now and loves going. They have plenty of messy and outdoor play for the kids which my daughter loves. They offer a good range of fresh and health food option and carter to our vegan life style.

My daughter started in July 2019 as I was returning to work. She was just off a year at her induction and then a year old when she started. She has come on so much with her learning, development and social skills. The staff and management are amazing and will help you with anything you need them to provide and give support. I am so glad I used Mini Monkeys.

My son really enjoys coming to nursery. He comes out very dirty every evening which show me how much fun and play he is having. I love this. He is only 2 unable to tell me everything he is doing, however this is explained every night by one fo the girls. I also love when thee girls tell me what he is doing well and learning, then I see the same things at home.

‘L....’ was so excited to be coming back to nursery this week and has been telling us all about her days including playing in the garden, eating snack and building a tower. Thank you for helping her settle back in, she already can’t wait to come back next week!
